Louis Bernard Cotes Du Rhone Village
Our Origins : Louis Bernard, now based in Gigondas, was founded in 1976 in the heart of the Rhne valley, the home of Ctes-du-Rhne and many legendary wines. With an inventive and unconventional approach based on quality-oriented partnerships, Louis Bernard brings together wine properties with a common ambition: to get the best from their vines and their expertise in order to produce great wines. Our Style : In order to produce full-bodied, vigorous wines with fruity and spicy flavours, we chose Grenache as our main grape. This enables us to make voluptuous, concentrated, supple, generous wines which express the full richness of their terroir and are an invitation to conviviality and culinary delights. Our Signature : Linking the past to the present, the label on our bottles has a classic ogival arch shape, recalling a stained glass window, and the coat of arms reflects the region’s rich history. The overall graphical style is sleek and modern in harmony with the quality promise of our wines: generous fruit aromas caracteristic of each appellation, soft tannins, fresh and lush finish on the palate. The distinctive crest engraved on the bottles reinforces our guarantee of quality and set us apart. Our Commitments : For over 20 years, our winery has been engaged in an active and voluntary process in favor of a development respectful of its environment and of humans.Evaluated ‘Exemplary’ in its Corporate Social Responsability (CSR – label Afaq 26000), our winery works daily and at each stage for sustainable development: natural resources’ management (water recovery, recycling of paper and optimisation of resources used), eco-design (e.g. lighter-weight bottles), organic wines, working conditions…A genuine philosophy shared with all our team and some partners.
