Hahn Appellation 2020 Series Pinot Noir

Grapes for this wine are sourced from Ste. Philippe vineyard our certified sustainable estate vineyard in the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County. Located south of the Santa Lucia Highlands, the Ste. Philippe vineyard sits in an ancient, dry riverbed with well-drained, sandyloam soils. Arroyo Seco river stones, also known as Greenfield Potatoes, named for the adjacent town of Greenfield, CA, are unique to this region and integral to the soil as they store and release heat. Coastal influence and cool winds from Monterey Bay contribute to an extended growing season which ensures complexity and intensity of the fruit.

Tasting Notes

Medium red ruby in color, with aromas of black cherry, ripe red berries, toasted oak and subtle hints of warm spice. On the palate, soft and delicate flavors of cherry and red fruit are followed by creamy nuances and earthy notes on a long finish.
