Etude 2019 Pinot Noir

A beautiful expression of Carneros, Napa Valley Pinot Noir, Etude Grace Benoist Ranch Carneros Pinot Noir Red Wine is packed with bright cherry and berry flavors with the added complexity of spice and earth notes. Youthful and fresh, with the potential to age for up to a decade, enjoy this red wine with roasted pork or smoky glazed ham. Etude was founded on the philosophy that winemaking begins in exceptional vineyards, long before the fall harvest, where superior grape growing leads to wines with authentic varietal expression, wonderful flavors, and a telling reflection of where the wines are grown. The farming of our owned Santa Barbara Vineyards is uniquely hands-on, which ensures viticulture practices and farming measures are comparable with that of Etudes Estate Vineyards.

Tasting Notes

A vibrant ruby red, garnet color, with aromas of lifted red berries, black cherry and fresh strawberry, alongside earth and spice notes of cedar, pink peppercorn and crushed tea leaf, finishing with brown baking spice notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove, characteristics often found in Grace Benoist Ranch Pinot Noirs. Rich, round and silky with bright acidity and long, fine-grained tannins that suggest the opportunity to age a bit, for further development of the complex layers of flavor.
