Flying Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc, 75 cl

This classic Sauvignon Blanc’s colour is pale straw with green lights. Ripe tropical passion fruit, gooseberry and green capsicum aromas balance with crisp acidity and herbal notes to add complexity and depth to a long lingering finish. A wine to be enjoyed during the next 12 to 18 months and it may develop further complexity with extended cellaring. An ideal match with roast poultry, seafood or to be enjoyed simply on its own as an aperitif.

Founded in 1978 by the Mundy family, the vineyards take maximum advantage of the Marlborough region’s long, warm summers and dry autumns. And it’s well worth remembering Marlborough’s huge influence on New Zealand wine making. It has been almost synonymous with Sauvignon Blanc since the early 1990s when it first arrived to some acclaim. In the last 20 years has become one of the most sought after regions in the UK.
