The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Creekside Vineyard is a powerful, rich wine that captures all the natural intensity of this site. Bruising, potent tannins wrap around a core of crme de cassis, chocolate, new leather, licorice and plum. This is a decidedly opulent wine, with tons of grip and plenty of persistence. but it is also compacted by its tannic heft. Time in the glass brings out a more floral character and brighter tonalities of fruit.
