Mount Gay Master Coffey Still Rum

Mount Gay introduces its seventh release in the Master Blender Collection with the Coffey Still Expression Rum, a tribute to both traditional craftsmanship and innovative distillation. Crafted under the expertise of Master Blender Trudiann Branker, this unique rum is distilled using Mount Gay’s rare 100% copper Coffey Still, a continuous column still invented by Aeneas Coffey in the early 19th century. After decades of disrepair, the still was recommissioned in 2019, largely thanks to the extensive knowledge of the late Reynold ‘Blues’ Hinds, a veteran distiller at Mount Gay. This limited edition rum, bottled at 58% ABV and non-chill filtered, showcases the distinct floral and round character of Coffey Still distillation, with only 5,004 bottles available worldwide.
