NEW ALCHEMY White Devil Whiskey

Matt and Jason named their aquavit, Fylleangst, as a playful nod to Scandinavian drinking customs. This term, which lacks a direct English equivalent, captures the feeling of worry that comes after a night of heavy drinking when reflecting on one’s actions. Distilled from wheat and malted rice, it took them nearly a year to create a unique West Coast take on this classic Scandinavian spirit. Fylleangst is vapor-distilled with a blend of botanicals, including toasted caraway, coriander, cumin, anise, fenugreek, summer savory, and lemongrass. It’s designed to be enjoyed neat or in cocktails. In 2020, it received the prestigious Double Gold medal and Best in Class title at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
