Taylors 2016 Late Bottled Vintage Port in Gift Box, 75 cl

Taylors LBV 2016 is clearly imprinted on this finely tuned and beautifully balanced Port. Very bright, intense fruit on the nose, black woodland berry aromas blending with fresher notes of raspberry and plum. Wild herbal notes of resin and balsam lend the wine a lifted, ethereal quality and an additional dimension of complexity. On the palate, the fruit character is denser and more luscious but there is also a fresh grapey quality.

One of the great Port Houses, Taylors has remained family managed since its foundation in 1692. It has remained entirely dedicated to quality Port production throughout its history. Taylors owns three great vineyards in the Douro, Quinta de Vargellas, Quinta de Terra Feita and Quinta do Junco. All are categorised grade A the highest possible rating. These three iconic properties, each occupying a distinct geographic location and with their own unique character, are the cornerstone of the companys success and the main source of its unique and inimitable house style.
