Vacheron Sancerre Rose 2023 750 ML

A combination of direct-press and saigne Pinot Noir, from a 50/50 mix of flint and limestone soils. Fresh and silky, but with substantial concentration, with notes of pale strawberry, salt, and lime.

Vacheronhas long been one of Sancerres greatest producers, and also one its most forward-looking: they were one of the first in the region to convert to biodynamics (2005), and to produce site-specific cuves (beginning with Belle Dame in 1995) that show theVacheroncousins deep love of Burgundy and its parcellaire traditions.
